Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody gave Warriors fans a few reasons for hope during Golden State's Summer League game against the Orlando Magic on Monday, and during a break in the action, Kevon Looney provided another.
Looney, who is in Vegas to support the Summer League squad, joined the ESPN broadcast and offered an update on Klay Thompson.
"He's doing good," Looney said. "His rehab is going to be a long process, but he's looking really good now. He's getting stronger. ... He's really attacking, he's really locked in. It's probably the most focused I've probably seen Klay in a long time, so I'm really excited to get him back. I know he wants to be back on the court. We don't know when he's going to be back, for opening day or whatever, but we know when he gets back, he's gonna be ready. He's gonna look really good."

Thompson, of course, has missed the last two seasons, first with a torn ACL, and then a torn Achilles. He has been working his way back ever since and remains on track in his recovery. The Warriors will be extremely cautious with Thompson and certainly won't rush him back. The expectation is that he won't be ready for the start of the season, but possibly before the end of the calendar year.
The Warriors -- and their fans -- obviously can't wait to see him back on the court again.
