The Warriors' 2021-22 season is a whole four games old and we're already having NBA MVP debates. That's how great Steph Curry has been so far for Golden State.
Not only is Curry in the far-too-early MVP conversation, but ESPN's Tim Legler also made a bold statement regarding the Warriors' superstar Wednesday morning.
"Steph Curry's gonna be MVP," Legler said on the "Keyshaw, JWill & Max" show. "Just write it down right now, Steph Curry's gonna be MVP of the league."

SIGN UP HERE Curry continued his strong start to the season Tuesday night with 23 points, six rebounds and four assists in the Warriors' 106-98 comeback win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. In fact, Curry once again is re-writing the Warriors' history books.
After his performance in OKC, Curry became the only Warriors player to total at least 100 points, 25 rebounds and 25 assists through the team's first four games of a season. Actually, Curry himself did so in the 2014-15 season when he went on to win his first MVP. Through the first four games of that season, he averaged 26 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game.
This year, he's averaging 29 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.

Legler believes that while players like Damion Lee, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, etc. are nice puzzle pieces, Curry being this dominant at this stage of his career without an offensive co-star makes his MVP case that much stronger.
"He's gonna average around 30, they're gonna be in the top four in the Western Conference -- that spells MVP to me with this roster," Legler said.
Curry averaged 32 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game last season and finished third in MVP voting.
