Lakers reserve Dudley salutes Steph, Dray after play-in game

Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the Warriors put their best efforts out in Wednesday night's play-in tournament game, but came up just short to the Los Angeles Lakers in a 103-100 loss at Staples Center.

The play from the Warriors' two stars drew praise from Lakers forward Jared Dudley, who believes Golden State provided the test the defending champions needed as they enter the playoffs.

Dudley didn't play in Wednesday night's game, but is a veteran figure on the Lakers' bench.

He apparently shares the opinion of his own star teammate, LeBron James, who said at the end of the regular season that he believes Curry is the MVP of the league this season.

The Warriors, meanwhile, now take on the Memphis Grizzlies in a winner-take-all game Friday with the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference on the line.
