Last year, the Warriors went 67-15 during the regular season.

They went 16-5 over the postseason, and captured their first NBA title since 1975.

Golden State is 13-0 this year, and is three wins away from breaking the record for the most consecutive wins to open a season in NBA history.

On Thursday night, the Warriors overcame a 23-point deficit and completed an improbable comeback in LA against the Clippers.

"We're addicted to the feeling of winning," Klay Thompson told ESPN's J.A. Adande following the win. "We want it so bad again that we'll almost play through anything."

Through the Warriors' first 12 games last season, Thompson averaged 22.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists, while shooting over 45 percent from the floor and 43.4 percent from deep.

Through the Warriors first 12 games this season, Thompson averaged 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists, while shooting 44 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from deep.

He snapped out of his slump by scoring a season-high 25 points against the Clippers. He got to the free throw line 12 times (made 10) after attempting just 14 combined prior to Thursday's game.

Thompson's 3-pointer with 2:43 remaining gave the Warriors their first lead since the score was 3-2.

"Right now, the way that we're playing, the way that we're focused, it talks about how hungry we are," Stephen Curry said. "And we're staying in the moment, too. Each game is different, and each game we're finding different ways to win. You don't want to jump ahead to April."

Whether they are up big or down big, the Warriors know how to win.

They have won 73 straight games in which they built at least a 15-point lead.

Even crazier: Over the past two seasons, the Warriors are 3-3 in games where they trailed by 20 or more points. The rest of the NBA: 13 wins, 486 losses.

“That was pretty fun to watch our guys fight back like that after the first quarter the Clippers had,” interim head coach Luke Walton said. “We just kept telling them, ‘Just keep chipping away.’"
