The "Splash Brothers" have made quite a lot of history together.
Between the three NBA titles, the countless number of wins, records and scoring feats, they've done it all with what their collective nickname would suggest ... a lethal 3-point shot.
Steph Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history and is on pace to break Ray Allen's all-time 3-point record of 2,973 career three's this season. Currently sitting at 2,832, Steph is 142 made three's away from breaking Allen's mark. If healthy, that could happen at or around the midway point of the 2021-22 NBA season.

The Warriors are fortunate to have not one, but two lethal 3-point shooters. The other being Klay Thompson, of course. Having missed the previous two seasons due to knee and Achilles injuries, Thompson is itching to get back out on the court and do what he does best, drain three's alongside his fellow "Splash Brother."
Currently sitting at 20th on the list with 1,798 made three's, Thompson has a ways to go before seeing his name near the top of that list. One day though, he hopes to see his name right under Steph's, who he presumes will hold the title.
“Well, he deserves it," Thompson told NBC Sports' Kerith Burke at Warriors Media Day. "That man is the greatest marksman in basketball history. Hopefully one day he can be one and I can be two. That would be pretty iconic, and I think it’s within reach. Steph changed the game. You go to any 24 Hour Fitness or any pickup game in the country, and now people want to take 30-foot step-backs in three-on-two. It’s just changed from every level to youth to high school to college. The man is pretty much the sole reason why that is."

If Thompson can return to play at or near the level he was pre-injury, then the two certainly have a chance to make that dream a reality.
The two aren't alone, though. All four of James Harden (2,445), Damian Lillard (2,051), LeBron James (1,979) and Kyle Lowry (1,827) find themselves both ahead of Thompson and behind Curry on the list. Chances are a couple of them will be competing for one of the top spots as well.
No matter where either of them finishes on that list, it's hard to argue that many other duos throughout NBA history would be more iconic than Steph and Klay.
