The Warriors have made it abundantly clear that they're going to take it very slowly with Klay Thompson in his ongoing recovery from a torn Achilles, but that's not going to stop us from getting extremely excited about the sight of him back on the court.
Each glimpse has been tantalizing, and the most recent one is not going to do anything to diminish the hopes of Warriors fans. Thompson posted an Instagram video of him doing a shooting drill on Tuesday, and he was looking like his pre-injury self.

"I'm just happy to be making progress on the daily," Thompson wrote as the caption. "Can't wait to hoop again."
He's not the only one. Warriors fans and the NBA at large are eagerly awaiting Thompson's season debut, whenever that might come. Golden State reportedly is targeting the Christmas Day game against the Phoenix Suns, but that's not written in stone.
In the meantime, there will be no shortage of interest in Thompson's rehabilitation. Former teammate Kevin Durant, for instance, took notice of the video, too.

Durant and his Brooklyn Nets will make their lone visit to Chase Center on Jan. 29. Assuming all goes as hoped, Thompson should be in the Warriors' lineup that night.
