OAKLAND -– Jason Kidd believes he knows what’s coming when his Bucks face the Warriors Friday night at Oracle Arena.
“They’re going to come out like Mike Tyson back in the day, looking to knock us out,” Kidd, referring to the powerful and fearsome former heavyweight champion, told CSNBayArea.com.
The Warriors have been vocal about their desire to get revenge on the only team to beat them, last Saturday in Milwaukee. The defending champs have spent much of the week recalling the late-game exultation of the Bucks.

Reared in Oakland and the most celebrated player in Bay Area prep history, Kidd is wholly familiar with the Warriors – past and present. After one season in Brooklyn, he moved over to the Bucks, where in his second season he has his hands full.
“We’re a young team, second-youngest in the league,” he said. “It took those guys a few years to get where they are. They had to earn it.
“But I know what’s coming tonight. They’ll try to knock our mouthpiece across the ring. They will. It’s about how we respond when they knock that mouthpiece across the ring.”
