The Warriors were scheduled to host the Nets at Chase Center -- in front of no fans -- last Thursday, but never got the chance as the NBA season was suspended the previous day after two Utah Jazz players tested positive for COVID-19. The Nets then returned to Brooklyn, where they were reportedly tested for the virus by a private company. Results came back Tuesday, after which the Nets put out a press release stating that four players had tested positive.
"Of the four, one player is exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic," the Nets said in the release. "All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians.
"The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting."
Given that the Nets were in town prior to the season being suspended, one wonders if Durant had an opportunity to meet up with some of his former Golden State teammates before Thursday's game. That's a possibility Warriors coach Steve Kerr hopes never came to pass.
The Kings were scheduled to host Brooklyn last Sunday.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers told reporters Tuesday that no Golden State players have been tested for the coronavirus yet, as there aren't enough testing kits.
The four Nets players that have tested positive for COVID-19 bring the NBA's total to seven. It would not be shocking whatsoever to see that number significantly grow.
