Kevin Durant may not eventually leave to join the New York Knicks, but he sure looked at home at Madison Square Garden on Friday. The Warriors wing scored a career-high 25 points in the fourth quarter, and 41 overall, in Golden State's 128-120 win over the Knicks.
Knicks fans tried to woo Durant early, giving him a loud ovation at the start of the game -- days after fans put up a billboard trying to convince the 30-year-old to sign with New York this offseason. Durant only scored 16 points through the first three quarters, but took over once the fourth quarter started.
He got started early, hitting his first of four 3-pointers just 40 seconds into the frame. Durant missed his next attempt from deep before making five straight field goal attempts and one free throw before missing again.

In nine minutes and 56 seconds played in the fourth quarter, Durant only missed three shots, all from 3-point range. Durant made 10 of his 13 attempts, making four of his seven shots from deep.
Going into the fourth quarter, the Warriors trailed by three points. And then, Kevin Durant happened.
After his monster performance, Durant had to face the New York media for some hard-pressed questions.
