The Warriors will likely have to keep winning without Steph Curry.
Following Friday’s 116-103 road win over the Memphis Grizzlies, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry will likely sit out Saturday’s second leg of a back-to-back against the Grizzlies.
“He’s very doubtful,” Kerr told reporters via video conference after Friday's victory. “It would be irresponsible of us to play him at this point. He’s still in pain.”

The Warriors are playing it cool with Curry, who is dealing with a bruised tailbone after taking an awkward spill against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Beyond Saturday, the Warriors’ next game is Tuesday at the Philadelphia 76ers.
“[Athletic trainer] Drew Yoder told me we got to make sure he’s stable and strong in that area, muscles around the injury,” Kerr said. “It’s not even a question of temptation to put him out there. It’s just we’re going to do what’s right medically. When he’s ready, he’s ready.”

Andrew Wiggins stepped up in Curry’s absence on Friday and scored 40 points, setting a new high since joining the Warriors. He finished 14-of-24 from the field and 6-of-11 from 3-point range, adding eight rebounds and four assists.
Jordan Poole kept up his hot play with 25 points as a starter in Curry’s place, while Draymond Green took over playmaking duties and dished out 13 assists.
The Warriors would love a similar effort from their squad if Curry misses the next game, as expected.
