Steph Curry will not play Friday night in the Warriors' matchup against the Toronto Raptors as he continues to deal with a tailbone contusion.
So, what went into the thought process to keep the two-time NBA MVP on the sideline?
"Just the decision that the training staff made when they evaluated him," Warriors coach Steve Kerr told the media Friday afternoon. "And Steph was part of that decision as well. So we feel pretty good about giving him today and tomorrow off, and then playing him in Atlanta [on Sunday].

"Gives him the two days to recover from last night. So it's a wise decision."
Have the Warriors decided that Steph will not suit up both nights when the Warriors have back-to-back sets?
"Just day to day," Kerr said. "Make every decision based on whatever is there that day."

After their game Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks, the Warriors will return home and face the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, followed by a back-to-back against the Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
The Warriors entered Friday 1-6 this season when playing without Curry, who is averaging 29.7 points, 6.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals over his last 39 appearances, while shooting 48 percent overall and 42 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
