Steve Kerr does not like to talk about his health issues.
But on Friday, the Warriors' head coach revealed he has experienced significant improvement.
"I even played a little golf this summer," Kerr told Tim Kawakami on The TK Show Podcast. "It had been a couple years since I got out and swung a golf club. And I played a few rounds late in the summer down in San Diego.

"So I am doing better."
Kerr underwent back surgery in the summer of 2015 to repair a ruptured disk.
Soon thereafter, he began dealing with debilitating headaches, nausea, stiffness and other complications caused by leaking spinal fluid.
He took an indefinite leave of absence and ended up missing the first 43 games of the 2015-16 regular season.

Kerr then missed 11 games during the 2017 playoffs because of the pain.
"Man, what a long haul," the 2016 NBA Coach of the Year explained. "I work every day -- I do a lot of stuff to make sure I'm staying on the improving path. Getting old -- it sucks (laughter).
"The worst is behind me ... when I had to sit out in the playoffs, that was a brutally difficult time and I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. I think all of that is behind me and I'm looking at much better days."
