Eric Paschall started the first two games of the season at power forward, and has come off the bench ever since.
He also has been playing a different position.
Once Marquese Chriss suffered a broken right leg prior to the Warriors' game at the Chicago Bulls, Paschall was thrust into a role as the team's "small-ball center."

And he was fantastic in that spot over the next 10 games, averaging 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists, while shooting better than 56 percent from the field.
After somewhat of a rough stretch thereafter, the 24-year-old has regained his footing -- scoring in double figures in five of the Warriors' last seven games.
But with James Wiseman and Kevon Looney returning to the lineup possibly as early as Tuesday vs. the New York Knicks -- and with Juan Toscano-Anderson emerging as an important contributor -- where does that leave Paschall?
"I think there are gonna be times where we'll want him to be a small-ball five," Steve Kerr told the media Monday. "But in order for us to really help Eric develop and for his career to blossom, he needs to play some four. He needs to be able to flourish in that role as well.

"So I think you'll see some of that going forward. You'll still see some five too, depending on matchups and lineup combinations."
It's possible that not a whole lot changes for Paschall, and he continues playing the bulk of his minutes at center to open the second and fourth quarters.
But if Kerr elects to start Wiseman at the five in the second unit, perhaps Paschall plays alongside the 7-foot rookie during those stretches.
Or maybe we see him close the first half (and possibly some games) with Steph Curry, Kelly Oubre, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green.

The bottom line is that there is a looming minutes logjam, and the coaching staff has some tough decisions on the horizon.
"We can't play 12 guys, so I'm gonna have to make some moves," Kerr said.
