KD embraces former Warriors teammates after Nets' big win

Plenty of mutual affinity remains between Kevin Durant and the Warriors.

After the Brooklyn Nets steamrolled the Warriors 134-117 Saturday night at Chase Center, Durant made sure to show his former team some love, hugging the coaching staff, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green after the game.

Durant made his long-awaited return to the Bay Area on Saturday, although much of the anticipated emotion was lacking, given the fact no fans were allowed in Chase Center. Despite that, Durant made it clear he still has plenty of respect for his former organization, and the feelings are obviously reciprocated.

The 10-time NBA All-Star's accomplishments in the Bay surely won't be forgotten by Dub Nation. Durant led the Warriors to back-to-back NBA titles and fell just short in notching a third. The 32-year-old was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2017 and 2018.

Durant departed after the 2019 season to Brooklyn, but his former teammates and coach Steve Kerr have no ill will towards the superstar and it's clear the feelings are mutual.
