JTA has heartfelt interaction with fan at championship parade

Juan Toscano-Anderson looked into the crowd at the Warriors championship parade on Monday and saw a version of his younger self

A kid from East Oakland who grew up a die-hard Warriors fan, Toscano-Anderson now is a champion with his childhood team, becoming the first player of Mexican descent to win an NBA title.

So when he saw a young fan with a Warriors jersey yelling and cheering as he passed by, Toscano-Anderson couldn’t help but show him some love.

And he even took it a step further.

Toscano-Anderson, after asking for permission, lifted the young fan over the barrier and let him run through the streets of the parade with him.

An incredible moment neither Toscano-Anderson nor the boy will ever forget.

“I love you,” the boy can be heard telling Toscano-Anderson.
