Jordan Poole's brief G League exile is over for the moment.
Less than 24 hours after leading the Santa Cruz Warriors to a road win over the Salt Lake City Stars, Golden State's 2019 first-round draft pick is expected to play in Saturday night's matchup against the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center.
"We just did a walk-through on our practice court," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "He's here and ready to go."

Poole's demotion came last week, as the rookie guard shot just 25 percent from the field in his first 29 games. In his last three G-League games, though, he found his touch, averaging 26 points on 46 percent shooting from the field, including 11 3-pointers. He scored 21 points in Friday's 110-106 Santa Cruz win.
His play, coupled with a shoulder injury to starting point guard D'Angelo Russell, earned Poole his promotion.
"He's had a good stretch," Kerr said. "Had a good week of practice as well. The timing is right to have him here."

However, Poole's G League days aren't over just yet. While Poole is a capable scorer, Golden State's coaching staff wants to see more defensive effort and consistency as his offensive game grows.
"The whole point is to build the right habits," Kerr said. "For someone like Jordan, that means works well without the ball, fly off screens, transition defense, play with great energy. All the same things I'm going to ask of him here, that's what I expect of him in Santa Cruz. He's had a productive week there."
