Jerry West is a big, big fan of Kevin Durant.
On Monday afternoon, "The Logo" explained how Durant is more than just a scorer.
"He was the leading rebounder on the team (Thunder) ... he's the best 1-on-1 player in the league, period. Not close," West told KNBR 680. "He gets a lot of steals, he was second on their team in assists.

"He's the best 1-on-1 player in basketball," West reiterated again. "And if we had a real void, you could see that in playoffs -- we didn't have anyone that could really go by people, finish the ball, and make plays for other guys. This guy can do it.
"You're getting one of the two best basketball players in the world."
Durant is a four-time scoring champion and averaged a career-best 32 points per game in 2014.
As a rookie, he dished out just 2.4 assists per contest. This past season, he registered 5.0 assists per night (career-high 5.5 in 2014).
He shot 50.5 percent from the field last year, including just under 39 percent from deep. West believes that Durant will be even more efficient in a Warriors uniform.
"I think it will be easier for him to score," West added. "He's not going to get ganged up on as much every night. He might take four or five less shots per game and score as many points.
"But his all-around game is what I love about him."
