It was the LeBron James show at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night.
The Warriors entered their in-state rivalry game against the Los Angeles Lakers on a three-game losing streak and in desperate need of a win. King James and the Lakers, clinging to a spot in the NBA play-in tournament, were slumping on a four-game skid themselves.
Although Golden State led for most of the game, in the end, it was James gleefully walking off the court after a memorable performance in the Lakers’ 124-116 win over Golden State.

LeBron finished the night with a season-high 56 points on 19-of-31 shooting from the field and 6-of-11 from 3-point range. He also added 10 rebounds, three assists and one block.
It was LeBron’s first 50-point game since he dropped 51 on his former team, the Miami Heat, on Nov. 18, 2018.
Want more statistics? There are plenty.
Sometimes, you've got to tip your cap to the better opponent and appreciate greatness like LeBron displayed Saturday night. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they've bowed down to their last four opponents.
