The former Warriors center was given his 2017-18 Warriors Championship ring before the Dubs hosted McGee's Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day.

McGee was diagnosed with pneumonia last week, which put his status for the game against the Warriors in doubt. McGee missed the last four Lakers games, but returned (confirm!) for the marquee game against his former team.

"That’s the only thing, the only game I’ve been thinking about while being bedridden is the Christmas Day game,” McGee said to Yahoo's Chris Haynes on Sunday. “No offense to the other teams, but that’s really important to me. I’ve got to get better for that game.

"That’s the homecoming, the ring ceremony. It’s really important.”

McGee played the last two seasons with the Warriors, winning two championships. In his time with Golden State, he averaged 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 9.5 minutes per game.
