
OAKLAND – The Warriors, who opened the season with an epic 24-game win streak, now have a second streak that’s up to five.
The defending champions lifted their record to 29-1 with a 122-103 lashing of the Sacramento Kings on Monday night at Oracle Arena, completing a sweep of their five-game homestand that began on Dec. 16.

Stephen Curry led the way with his first triple-double of the season: 23 points, 14 rebounds (a career high) and 10 assists.
Klay Thompson scored a team-high 29 points, while Draymond Green totaled 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Ian Clark came off the bench to toss in 12 points.
Sacramento forward Omri Casspi scored 36 points to lead all scorers.
The Warriors overcame some uncharacteristically sloppy play in the first half, as the Kings (12-19) reeled off a 28-7 run to lead by as much as 11 (43-32, 6:40 left in the second quarter). The Warriors committed 10 first-half turnovers, off which Sacramento scored 16 points.

Beating the Kings for the 11th consecutive time, the Warriors raised their home record this season to 14-0, while extending their overall home win streak to 33. The Warriors ended the calendar year with a 42-1 record at Oracle.
STANDOUT PERFORMER
Curry wins the honor not only for his triple-double but also for his stunning offensive outburst late in the first half.
After missing his first five shots, Curry hit a 3-pointer with 3:16 left in the half, touching off a personal 17-point flurry in less than three minutes.
TURNING POINT
Trailing 61-58 at the half, the Warriors opened the second half with a 21-5 run, taking a 79-66 lead with 6:08 left in the third quarter.
The Warriors held the Kings to 20-percent shooting (2-of-10) during the rally, while Thompson scored eight points to lead the offensive charge.
The Kings after that never got closer than eight (79-71, with 4:52 remaining in the third quarter), as the Warriors outscored them 32-14 in the quarter.
Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was ejected with 8:57 left in the third quarter and Sacramento holding a 66-64 lead.
INJURY UPDATE
Warriors: F Harrison Barnes (R ankle sprain), listed as doubtful, was ruled out two hours before tipoff. G Leandro Barbosa (L shoulder sprain) and F Kevon Looney (R hip surgery rehab) were listed as out. Barnes and Looney were placed on the inactive list.
Kings: C Kosta Koufos (gastroenteritis) and F Duje Dukan were not with the team. C Willie Cauley-Stein (R index finger dislocation) and C/F Eric Moreland (L foot fracture) were listed as out and placed on the inactive list.
