Warriors general manager Bob Myers was pleased with the result but would have loved to see his team's second of the two picks land a little higher than 14.
“We feel fine about how it turned out. I would have loved to not see our name at [pick No. 14], that would have been fun," Myers told media immediately after the lottery.
The Warriors didn't luck out, but they remain excited about the picks they do have.

“But Minnesota, that pick being conveyed is great," Myers added.
"A top-seven pick is hard to come by. We’ll see what the possibilities are, I don't know what they will be right now, it’s [only been 10 minutes]. It’s unusual to have those picks in a very good draft.”
The Warriors will look to upgrade their roster around late-prime stars Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, whether it be with two rookies via the draft or in a trade.
Will Golden State hold on to one, or both of their first-round picks? We'll find out soon enough.
