All three members of Run TMC are now Hall of Famers.
On Thursday, NBC Sports Bay Area Warriors insider Monte Poole was first to report that former Warrior Tim Hardaway would be elected into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
Prior to the Warriors' 111-107 win over the Utah Jazz on Saturday night, a former teammate of Hardaway's and current Warriors Pregame Live analyst Chris Mullin, revealed how he first heard the news.

"So now Run TMC is Run HOF," Mullin said Saturday on Warriors Pregame Live. "It feels so sweet. It was great. When we found out, Tim called Mitch [Richmond] and I on Tuesday at the beginning of the week, so I did keep it secret. But what was great was he called me and he said ‘yo, Mitch you on the other line?’ So Mitch was on, we had a three-way call. he goes ‘Yo fellas, I’m in.’
Mullin, Hardaway and guard Mitch Richmond made up Run TMC, the highest-scoring trio in the NBA during the 1990-91 season.
"We were just so happy, I was like 'Tim I’m so happy for you.' Mitch was a little slow," Mullin added. "He was like ‘in where? Where are you going?'

"I said 'Mitch he’s in the Hall of Fame, man, let’s go.' So we had a big celebration together. It was so sweet that he called me and Mitch together. It was awesome news, well deserved and we’re going to have a big celebration."
