LeBron James dreams of playing with Warriors star Steph Curry, and while the two-time NBA MVP isn't keen on the idea at the moment, there is a segment of Dub Nation that wouldn't mind seeing it happen.
NBC Sports Bay Area polled Warriors fans over a 24-hour period from Wednesday to Thursday, and 60 percent of the 16,548 respondents voted "Yes" as to whether they would like to see Curry and LeBron play together.

Steve Kerr was asked to react Thursday to LeBron's comments, and the Warriors' coach didn't take the bait.
"I have no thoughts on that," Kerr told reporters prior to the Warriors' game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center. "Trying to get me in trouble, aren't you?"
This all started Wednesday when a clip from the latest episode of "The Shop" dropped. After talking about the idea of playing with his son Bronny, LeBron was asked who else he wants to play with.
“Steph Curry is the one I want to play with, for sure, in today’s game,” LeBron said.

“[He’s] lethal, man. When he gets out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena,” LeBron added. “Soon as he gets out of his car, you better guard his ass. You might want to guard him when he gets out of bed. Swear to God.”
Curry appeared on 95.7 The Game a few hours after LeBron's comments were made public and the injured Warriors star took the diplomatic route.
"Well, he's got his wish," Curry told Matt Steinmetz and Daryle Johnson. "When he's the captain he's picked me the last two All-Star games. I don't know if that suffices, but I'm good right now.
"Whenever you get the interest or curiosity of what it would be like to play with the MVP-caliber dude that he is, one of the greatest of all time, it's cool, that's amazing. We all can live in that fantasy world."

If Curry and LeBron are to ever pair up, it mostly likely would have to happen with the Warriors because of their contracts and the available assets each team has..
Curry just signed a massive five-year, $215 max contract extension and is signed through the 2025-26 season, whereas LeBron, 37, is signed through next season.
Despite how well LeBron has played this season, if he were to come to the Bay Area, it would be at the end of his career and the Warriors wouldn't be getting him in his prime.
While it's fun to think about the possibility of arguably the two greatest players of this generation teaming up, it's highly unlikely to happen.
