Former Warriors point guard Baron Davis hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season, but he’s … still a free agent?
Guess so.
No, it doesn’t appear the 41-year-old is returning to the NBA, but when he realized he was still on a free agent list, he joked he’s honored to still be mentioned as an available option.

SIGN UP HERE Davis spent four seasons with the Warriors, including during the legendary “We Believe” 2006-07 season where the team ended the franchise's long playoff drought and upset the top-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first-round.
But more than that, Davis and the "We Believe" Warriors captivated a region like few teams have.

Davis, who retired in 2016, also had a phenomenal dunk over Andrei Kirilenko on May 11, 2002 while the team played the Utah Jazz. It was the same season Davis would average 20.1 points per game -- the highest on the team.
It also was the last time, until the Steph Curry-Klay Thompson years, that the team would make it to the playoffs.
The Warriors still wear “We Believe”-inspired uniforms in honor of the team that still makes Golden State fans get the warm fuzzies.
