Warriors-Clippers chatter has tapered off largely because the defending champions have owned the Clips while continuing to rule the NBA. The Warriors (63-7) will be trying to sweep the four-game season series Wednesday in Oakland, where they have won 50 in a row and are 32-0 this season.
Los Angeles (43-26), which played so well for most of the season in the absence of Blake Griffin, seems to have hit a wall. The Clippers have lost four of their last five games, with three of the defeats by double digits.

MATCHUPS TO WATCH:
Steph Curry vs. Chris Paul: Several matchups get Curry’s full attention, and this is one of them. The two point guards defend each other often but not always, yet each is the key to his team’s performance. Each is an excellent leader, capable of dictating tempo and orchestrating overall direction. Paul must be superb for LA to win.
Klay Thompson vs. J.J. Redick: Two of the best pure shooting guards in the NBA, and Redick is shooting a league-best 48.5 percent from deep, while Thompson’s 42.4 percent ranks 10th. Thompson, however, provides greater dimension, playing solid defense as well as showing the ability to drive into the paint.

The Warriors have won all three meetings this season, including two in Los Angeles, and are seeking their first season sweep since 1986-87. The Warriors have won the last eight meetings at Oracle, with the last loss coming on Dec. 25, 2011.
