Former Warriors Nick Young, JaVale McGee almost got into car crash

The most Nick Young thing ever would be for the former Warriors bench player to get into a car accident while he's supposed to be staying at home during the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Well, it almost happened Friday, according to Young, and the person he had the close call with was none other than former teammate JaVale McGee.

No, this is not a joke.

Can you imagine the scene in Los Angeles if Young and McGee had gotten into the accident? The tabloids would have had a field day with this.

Both players came to the Warriors looking to rebuild their images, and both walked away with championship rings.

McGee won NBA championships with the Warriors in 2016-17 and 2017-18. Young joined the squad for McGee's latter season and then referred to himself as "Swag Champ" after Golden State swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018.

One part of Young's tweet caught our attention.

"Damn I wish he would’ve hit me I need some cash," Young wrote.

According to Spotrac.com, Young made a little over $38 million during his 12-year NBA career. If he has blown through all that money, a car crash might not be the thing he needs right now.
