The Santa Cruz Warriors acquired Jacob Evans III from the NBA G League player pool, the team announced Tuesday.

Yes, the same Jacob Evans that the Golden State Warriors selected with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 23-year-old will wear No. 15 with the Sea Dubs and he is available to play against the Iowa Wolves on Tuesday afternoon (the game starts at 4:30 PT on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus).

Golden State traded Evans to the Minnesota Timberwolves last February in the deal that brought Andrew Wiggins to the Bay Area.

Evans in late November was traded to the New York Knicks, who waived him shortly thereafter.

The 6-foot-4 guard appeared in 21 G League games with Santa Cruz during his rookie season, and suited up for two contests last year.

The Sea Dubs (5-3) have won four in a row in the G League bubble.
