After two seasons of college ball at the University of Utah, Bogut entered the NBA as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 draft.
The Warriors acquired the 2010 Third-Team All-NBA selection in March 2012 in the trade that sent Monta Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Bogut was named Second-Team All-Defense in 2014-15 when the Warriors won their first NBA title in 40 years. And during Golden State's record-setting 73-win season the following year, the Australian native started 66 games.

In order to make room for Kevin Durant in July 2016, the Warriors traded Bogut to the Dallas Mavericks. But Golden State fell short in the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

Bogut last season played for the Sydney Kings in Australia's National Basketball League.
"I've had a fantastic career -- met countless amounts of interesting people," he said on his "Rogue Bogues" podcast. "I've seen the world just because I put a ball in a basket. I've seen more countries than I ever thought I'd see.
"But it's official, I'm part of the next chapter for a professional -- the 'after life' as I like to call it ... the No. 1 priority for me right now is the family."
