Warriors fans will see some familiar names on this list, which includes Scott Foster, Kane Fitzgerald and Marc Davis.
Foster has long been a notorious controversial NBA referee for fans of all teams, including the Warriors during their early dynasty years. But Golden State has actually been fine with Foster as a ref as of late, including the Warriors’ Game 5 closeout win over the Dallas Mavericks last Thursday.
Fitzgerald ingrained himself to Warriors fans during Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies, when he ejected Draymond Green for a controversial Flagrant 2 penalty in the first half, among a series of questionable calls.

Davis found himself in headlines during the Warriors’ Game 3 win over Dallas after the ref originally called Andrew Wiggins for an offensive foul when he posterized Luka Doncic with a spectacular dunk.
Draymond Green jokingly told Davis “you must be stopped” and Steph Curry sarcastically thanked the official for letting everyone watch countless replays of the play after coach Steve Kerr successfully challenged the call.
Regardless of any past issues, the Warriors, the Celtics and NBA fans everywhere hope that none of these officials become the storyline of what should be an intense battle for the Larry O’Brien trophy.
