Kevin Durant will be playing for the Warriors next season.
On Tuesday, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver let it be known he has concerns about franchises having the ability to form "superteams."
"Let them talk," Warriors CEO Joe Lacob said to ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss on Wednesday when asked about Silver's comments.

"Certainly it's important to me that markets in this league, those that are perceived as small, as those that are larger, all feel like they have an equal chance," Silver told reporters after the Board of Governors meeting. "My sense is that some of the player movement we just saw is not necessarily a function of market size.
"In the case of Kevin Durant, I absolutely respect his decision, once he becomes a free agent, to make a choice that's available to him. In this case he operated 100 percent within the way of the system, and same with Golden State.
"I don't think it's good for the league, just to be really clear. I will say, whoever is the 'prohibitive favorite,' try telling that to the 430 other players who aren't on those two teams.

"We'll see what happens in Golden State. You had a great, great chemistry among a group of players and you're adding another superstar to the mix, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
"But just to be absolutely clear, I do not think that's ideal from a league standpoint."
According to the oddsmakers, the Warriors (10/13) are the overwhelming favorites to capture the 2017 title.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are second at 3/1.
[REWIND: Lacob: Warriors' agenda in Durant meeting did not go as planned]
Following Durant's introductory press conference last week, Tim Kawakami of the Bay Area News Group asked Lacob the following question:
"As one of 30 owners, you have to look at what's good for the game. Is loading up like this, overall, good for the game? I know it's good for the Warriors, is it good for the game?"
Lacob's answer: "Well, I let others judge that. I think you can take a couple different positions on that, depending on who you are (laughing). But I think it is because it's hard to hate our style of basketball. It's hard to hate who our players are. It's fun basketball. To me, it's basketball the way it should be played -- a lot of ball movement, passing, sharing of the ball -- that's fun. That's pure.
"And I think our guys are also such good guys -- they're such good guys -- every one of them. I don't think there's a bad guy on this roster ... Kevin is a really good guy as well and he's joining this group. I think, maybe I'm wrong, but I think it would be hard to hate what the Warriors are in terms of the style of play or the people. You may hate the fact that your team is not winning or not beating us, but that's sort of the same in every sport."
