
UPDATE (1:30pm on Wednesday) -- Draymond Green's accuser is not backing down.
Jermaine Edmondson Jr. has reportedly hired a lawyer, who issued the following statement to TMZ:
"My client is a student-athlete who was punched and assaulted by Mr. Green in an unprovoked, unnecessary attack. His life has been forever altered by the events of that weekend."

Draymond Green was arrested early in the morning on Sunday, July 10.
On Wednesday, the police report from the incident became public.

Here is how the victim, Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson Jr, described what took place to the reporting officer:
"Edmondson stated that he was an MSU student and an MSU football player. He indicated on 7/9/16 he had contact with suspect Green inside of Rick's on Abbot Rd. Edmondson stated that while they were in the bar, Draymond had bumped into him.
Edmondson stated that he turned and told the subject to watch where he was going. Edmondson stated that at the time, Draymond stated, "Do you know who I am?" Edmondson stated he did know who the suspect was however he didn't care that he bumped into him.
Edmondson stated that while they were in the bar, someone had grabbed Edmondson by the throat after he had contract with Green reference the bumping into him. Edmondson couldn't provide any information of who the subject was that had actually grabbed Edmondson by the throat.
Edmondson stated that he then observed the subject again on 7/10/16 when this incident occurred. Edmondson stated he was standing outside of Conrad's when the suspect Draymond Green walked up to him. He indicated that Draymond put his hand on him and started to talk to him. At that time, Edmondson stated that he told Draymond Green to take his hands off of him. Edmondson stated that they started to verbally argue and at that time, Draymond Green punched Edmondson with his R hand on the L side of his cheek. Edmondson indicated to RO the subject then walked away.
Edmondson stated he did want to press charges reference to this incident. Edmondson indicated that he did not have any injuries. RO asked him if he wanted to seek any medical attention or see medics and he indicated no. Edmondson was holding the L side of his jaw as RO was talking to him."
Here is how Officer Jeff Horn reported what transpired:
"I observed a taller b/m wearing a white t-shirt, open handedly slap another b/m across the face with his R hand to the victim's L cheek area. The sound of the slap was very loud...
RO at that time did make contact with the suspect and it became immediately known that the suspect was Draymond Green who is known to be an ex MSU basketball player and current NBA basketball player.
I advised Green at that time he was going to be placed under arrest for the simple assault and battery."
Draymond was handcuffed and placed under arrest. He was booked and lodged in East Lansing Police Department jail and was released after posting bail ($200).
According to the police report, Draymond had a BAC of .10, and had to remain in jail until he was completely sober.
On Tuesday, the All-Star forward addressed the situation publicly:
"My legal team is handling it. It'll be resolved really quickly. As a public figure, I just can't put myself in certain situations. So it's something that I learn from, and just move on."
