Draymond Green is not one to mince words. And on the most recent episode of HBO's "The Shop: Uninterrupted," he did not diverge from that reputation.
Green was one of five celebrity guests on the episode that debuted Friday night, alongside Tom Brady, Kid Cudi, Chelsea Handler and Paul Rivera, for a discussion about the grind of winning, charting one's own path, mental health and sports media. At one point, Handler mentioned how she believes the ability to deputize is one of the real signs of a leader, and that sent Green off on a tangent about some of the common criticism he receives for not shooting enough.
And in fitting with his passionate personality -- fair warning -- it was filled with some explicit language.

"That's why there's a lot of unsuccessful people and a lot of f---in' dumb---es," Green said. "And you can tell by the criticism that comes to you, or the criticism that comes to you. I've found that solace in that over the last couple years. And just like listening to people and what they say, and the criticism, it actually shows you how f---ing stupid people are through their criticism.
"For instance, people say, 'Draymond you should shoot!' But if I can get Steph Curry the ball for a f---ing shot, why would I shoot?! You're actually a f---ing idiot for thinking I should shoot, because I can get him the shot and if he's half open, it's better than anyone else in the world -- if he's half open!"
Tell 'em how you really feel, Draymond.

In all seriousness, Green makes a very valid point. When given the choice between him taking the shot or the greatest shooter in the history of the game, it should be a very easy and obvious decision.
That's not to say that Green can't be more aggressive on offense. In fact, that's his main priority this offseason. But even if that comes to fruition, Green will continue to deputize on the court, and for good reason.
