Draymond ‘super nervous' when shooting against Hart

Draymond Green and Kevin Hart each made 12 shots in last Saturday night's 3-point showdown at All-Star weekend.

But Draymond "won" the contest because Hart was told he wasn't tall enough for the winner's trophy.

It was assumed Draymond would defeat the entertainer, and the expectations may have played a role in the end result.

"I was super nervous (laughing) with that one," Draymond said on KNBR 680 on Thursday evening. "It's completely different. You know everybody is at home watching you. Everything there is watching you. It's crazy."

Green wasn't just nervous squaring off against Hart.

"I was nervous the entire weekend," Draymond admitted.

After sitting on the bench for the entire first quarter of the All-Star Game, Green subbed in with 10:18 remaining in the second quarter.

"Checking in for the first time I was nervous," Draymond shared. "As soon as I checked in, CP (Chris Paul) said, 'Hey, you want to get a shot right now?' I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'All right, I'm gonna dribble right at your man and I'm just gonna throw it behind.'

"And when he threw the ball, I caught it and shot it. I knew the shot had no chance of going in. I just wanted to draw iron. I just didn't want to airball my first shot."

In about 12 minutes of action, Draymond registered four points (2-for-6 FG), five rebounds and two steals.
