Draymond Green will not be starting for the Western Conference in the All-Star Game.

On Thursday night, he posted a video to Uninterrupted.

"Today I've been getting a lot of hits on Twitter about the All-Star voting, and am I disappointed? Am I upset? No, I'm not disappointed. I'm not upset," Draymond declared. "I've never been a guy who expects anything to be given to me. Or if it doesn't happen, it disappoints me.

"At the end of the day, I thank the fans for even being near consideration of starting. That's something I could have never even imagined in my career, let alone coming into this season or any other season. It's just something that I never thought would ever happen to me, to even be in that conversation.

"So I thank the fans all around the world. Dub Nation. Bay Area. My fans back home in the state of Michigan. I'm thankful. Like I said, this is something that I don't take for granted."

In last week's fan balloting, Draymond led Kawhi Leonard by 12,321 votes. But the Spurs forward ultimately bested Draymond by 55,723 votes.

In fact, Mavericks forward Zaza Pachulia, who trailed Draymond by over 200,000 votes a week ago, leapfrogged the Warriors' MVP candidate as well.

"This is a brotherhood, this is a fraternity. I'm happy for every guy who got voted in," Draymond explained. "There's no need to be upset at something or upset with somebody else. It's a brotherhood. And I think a lot of times people forget that, we forget that, and I like to keep that in perspective. So no, I'm not angry.

"Hopefully, I can reach one of my dreams and still play in the All-Star Game."

The reserves (seven per conference) -- two guards, three frontcourt players and two players regardless of position -- are selected by the NBA's head coaches, and will be revealed next Thursday.

If Draymond and Klay Thompson are voted in by the coaches, it will be the first time the Warriors have at least three All-Stars since 1976 (Rick Barry, Phil Smith, Jamaal Wilkes).
