Andrew Wiggins' return is just the start of an incoming Warriors storm, Draymond Green believes.
Shortly after the Warriors' 126-123 Game 1 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday at Golden 1 Center, Golden State's defensive star explained just how big of an impact Wiggins' return will have on the team moving forward.
"We're a different team when Wiggs is here," Green said in the latest episode of "The Draymond Green Show." "We're a different team when we got Wiggs out there and first game back, he was 1 for 8 from the three with some shots that he normally will hit and I don't doubt that he's going to hit those."
Green also gave his teammate props for being able to almost seamlessly reintegrate himself into the Warriors' schemes, despite missing almost two months of action due to a family matter.
"The first game back, you don't have your legs under you and to come back in that intense ass game, kudos to Wiggs," Green continued. "We need him, we're going to need him to continue to get better and better and at a rapid pace and I have no doubt he will."
The 33-year-old noted that Wiggins looked "great" in scrimmages and believes that with the versatile wing back in the fold, the Warriors can build off their Game 1 loss and put themselves in a position to succeed.

"So great to have Wiggs back and like I said, he'll continue to get better defensively as well, although he was all over the court on that end, creating some loose balls and came up with some rebounds. I like it," Green concluded.
Wiggins came off the bench for the first time in his NBA career and played as if he had never left, scoring 17 points, blocking four shots, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out one assist.

Despite the loss, Warriors coach Steve Kerr is confident that Golden State has what it takes to bounce back.
And with Wiggins back in tow, the Warriors storm could come sooner rather than later.
