Draymond Green's ejection Sunday night was costly on two fronts for the Warriors forward.
Golden State missed Green's presence for the last quarter-and-a-half in the 110-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, and the NBA fined Green $25K on Tuesday for using profane language toward an official.

Green was upset with a foul call midway through the third quarter against the Spurs and was ejected shortly thereafter.
Head coach Steve Kerr was surprised the official chose to give Green two quick technicals for what he saw as typical complaining.
“It was unfortunate, obviously we need Draymond desperately,” Kerr told reporters after the loss. “So I was surprised by that. He wasn’t swearing, he wasn’t getting personal, I guess [official Marat Kogut] felt like Draymond didn’t stop complaining, but Draymond has never stopped complaining his whole career, we know that.”

The Warriors ended up losing in controversial fashion with Green in the locker room.
Golden State is trying to tread water with Steph Curry sidelined due to a sprained left foot. With Curry on the bench, the Warriors need Green on the floor as much as possible as they try to hang on to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
Green and the Warriors will be back in action Tuesday when they visit the Magic in Orlando.
