D'Angelo Russell out, Willie Cauley-Stein doubtful for Warriors-Spurs

The Warriors will be shorthanded when they take the floor Tuesday night in San Antonio.

Just how shorthanded is still to be determined.

D'Angelo Russell will not play against the Spurs due to a left shoulder contusion and Willie Cauley-Stein is officially listed as doubtful due to an illness.

The good news for the Warriors is that rookie forward Eric Paschall is listed as probable after missing the last two games with a hip contusion.

Russell -- who was in Santa Cruz on Sunday night to watch Jordan Poole and Alen Smailagic play in the G League -- scored 30 points in the first half of Golden State's loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

The 23-year-old registered 30 points and eight assists in the Warriors' loss to the Spurs back on Nov. 1.
