Point guard Stephen Curry said during Saturdays broadcastof the Warriors-Charlotte Bobcats game that he hopes to return to action onTuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But theres still work to do.Curry has missed the past six games with a right anklesprain, and on Monday afternoon hell put the ankle through a workout andfunctionality test. If that goes well, hell likely be in uniform against theCavaliers. However, dont expect to know for sure whether or not Curryis playing until before game-time. The reason? Because even if Currys anklewithstands Mondays functionality test, the real issue will be how it respondson Tuesday morningand whether there is any swelling or pain in it.The Warriors are currently 1-1 on their four-game road trip, which concludes in Cleveland and then New Jersey.Curry has injured the right ankle three times this season. The most recent time was on Jan. 4, against the Spurs in San Antonio.
