HOUSTON – Stephen Curry slipped on a wet spot on the Toyota Center floor Sunday late in the first half of Game 4 of the Warriors-Rockets playoff series and did not return for the second half.

He sustained a sprained right knee, according to the Warriors.

Curry will undergo an MRI Monday, Steve Kerr said after the game.

Curry was defending Trevor Ariza in the final seconds of the half when he slipped. He clutched his right knee, which had given way, after he went to the floor and limped off as the Warriors went into the locker room at halftime.

Curry came out of the locker room wearing brace on his right knee but went back inside after aborting an attempt to warm up for the second half.

Curry earlier in the game returned to the lineup for the first time since tweaking his right ankle in Game 1 on April 16.

He played 19 minutes in the first half, scoring 6 points on 2-of-9 shooting, including 1-of-7 from 3-point distance.
