Although the Warriors have not been as dominant as some expected the defending NBA champions to be, they often show up in games when it matters.
After defeating the Boston Celtics, 123-107, in a rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals on Saturday at Chase Center, the Warriors improved to 4-0 in their first rematches against a Finals opponent they beat the previous season.

The Warriors have won those matchups by an average of more than 10 points, showing just how dominant Golden State can be when all the pieces are working in harmony.
For context, the Warriors' streak started on Dec. 25, 2015, when Golden State defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 89-83, in a rematch of the 2015 Finals. In 2017, Golden State once again beat the Cavaliers, 99-92, Christmas Day.
The Dec. 5, 2018 matchup between the Warriors and Cavaliers featured the most lopsided victory of the four wins, as Golden State blew out the Cleveland, 129-105, in that year's rematch.
In their most recent NBA Finals rematch win over the Celtics, with Steph Curry scoring 32 points -- including an incredible buzzer-beater to end the first quarter -- and Klay Thompson dropping in a game-high 34 points against Boston, the Warriors now are 14-0 in the regular season when Curry and Thompson both score at least 30 points.

While the Warriors (14-13) are hovering just over .500 this season, it's clear that some games on the schedule mean more than others.
Warriors fans are hoping that this level of play can be sustained for an extended period and not just against marquee opponents.
