If it wasn't already clear by his comments to Yahoo's Chris Haynes, Kevin Durant is making his desire for money extra clear with his Christmas Day shoes.

Durant will wear Player Exclusive KD11's inspired by Disney character Scrooge McDuck on Tuesday night against the Lakers.

Durant can (and likely will) opt out of his contract with the Warriors next summer and test the free agency waters.

"I just want to make sure I get as much money as I can on my next deal so I can stack up my money and figure it out," Durant told Haynes. "That's just the plan. Play basketball and stack money."

If Durant really is focusing on the money, his best bet is to stay with the Warriors next summer. According to The Athletic's Danny Leroux, Durant's estimated five-year contract with the Warriors would be worth $221.3 million. if Durant were to go to any other team, he could only sign a four-year contract worth around $164 million. Those numbers are based on projections that the salary cap will rise to $109 million.
