Some in the basketball world have their doubts about the Steph Curry-D'Angelo Russell pairing in the Warriors' backcourt.
Brian Shaw -- who now is a Warriors Pregame/Postgame Live analyst at NBC Sports Bay Area -- is not one of those people.
"I think they're gonna complement each other well because D'Angelo is so good in the pick-and-roll game that it's gonna allow Steph to play a lot off the ball," the former NBA player and coach said Tuesday on the NBA Preview Show.

"But when he (Curry) is in pick-and-roll situations, they're gonna have to pick their poison ... if they commit the defense to the paint, it's gonna allow for D'Angelo Russell to knock down open perimeter shots."
