ABC's broadcast of Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors at Chase Center will sound different than what most fans are used to.
Play-by-play announcer Mike Breen and analyst Jeff Van Gundy will both miss Thursday night's game as they recover from COVID-19, per Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. Mark Jones will handle play-by-play duties in place of Breen and Mark Jackson will be the lone analyst.

Breen, Van Gundy and Jackson have been ABC/ESPN's No. 1 broadcast team for the NBA for many years. It'll feel a little weird for them not to be together for a game on the NBA Finals stage.
Breen also missed Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals last Sunday, when the Celtics defeated the Miami Heat. Jones replaced him for that matchup, too.
Tipoff for Game 1 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT, with coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area PLUS beginning at 4:30 p.m. with "Warriors Live: Finals Edition."
