Boos from Cleveland fans fuel Steph's historic performance

Steph Curry has a lot of history with the city of Cleveland.

Having faced off against the Cleveland Cavaliers in four-straight NBA Finals from 2015-2018, Steph and the Warriors came away victorious in three of them.

Throughout NBA All-Star weekend at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, both Steph and Draymond Green heard plenty of boos from the local crowd. All it did was help fuel one of the greatest All-Star Game performances in NBA history.

And Steph loved every minute of it.

"I didn't hear the cheers," Curry said while laughing.

"Obviously I have a lot of history in this building," Curry said. "Won a lot of games, lost a lot of games, everywhere in between. It obviously means there's history here and fans ... I think appreciate it, but it comes out in the form of boos and I enjoy it because it's not the first time or the last time. It takes some energy to boo, so you gotta care a lot to do that. So I try to channel that into the performance tonight and just have fun with it. I got hot early and kept it going and tried to put on a little bit of a show. The joy started to come out and hopefully, everyone appreciated it."
