Klay Thompson wants everyone to know that the Warriors have won not one, not two, not three, but four NBA championships.
Prior to his ejection in the third quarter of the Warriors' 134-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night at Footprint Center, Thompson was jawing with Suns superstar Devin Booker after swatting one of his passes out of bounds.
In speaking to NBA on TNT's Chris Haynes on the court after the game, Booker explained that the incident was nothing more than a typical back-and-forth between two competitors and that he was (and is) a big fan of Klay.

"Man I love Klay Thompson and I have from the beginning," Booker told Haynes. "From the draft coming out, I said I wanted to be Klay Thompson. That doesn't excuse us from competing against each other and talking a little mess with each other, so I had fun with it. Big fan of his and his competitive nature."
After the game, Booker told reporters that Thompson's frustrations stemmed from his poor performance on the court and that the Warriors guard repeatedly reminded Booker and the Suns of his four championship rings.
"He was just having a tough night," Booker explained. "I think everything plays into that. Just frustration, I've been there before. You know what they have, they have four rings and they're going to use that in all the trash talk, rightfully so. Respectfully. But that don't have nothing to do with competing."
"They have four rings," Booker said when asked what Thompson had said to him. "Repeated it over and over. And they do."
