OAKLAND – After taking their first two-day break since the Oct. 27 season opener, the Warriors returned to their practice facility Monday and went back to work.
Everybody participated, to some degree, but center Andrew Bogut (sprained back) and forward Harrison Barnes (sprained right ankle) continue to be restricted.
Bogut left in the first quarter of the Warriors’ victory over Milwaukee last Friday night. After a weekend off, he arrived Monday morning for treatment and then hung around after practice to shoot extra free throws.

“Bogey did non-contact stuff in practice, so he’s kind of day-to-day right now,” interim coach Luke Walton said.
Barnes, who has missed 10 games since sustaining the injury Nov. 27 against Phoenix, is making progress but still favoring his ankle and not ready to return to the lineup.
“Harrison got in the conditioning transition drill, which is a contract drill,” Walton said. “It’s nice to see him out there. Obviously, he’s not going to be playing (Wednesday). We’ll just continue to see how he progresses and take it from there.”
Asked if Barnes might be able to return for the Christmas Day battle with Cleveland, in an NBA Finals rematch, Walton was pessimistic.

"I don’t think so,” he said. “I guess you can always say there’s a chance, but I don’t think he’ll be playing Friday.”
If Bogut is out of the lineup Wednesday, when the Utah Jazz visit Oracle Arena, Festus Ezeli will get the start. Brandon Rush will continue to start at small forward until Barnes is ready to return.
