Biedrins ready to rebound

OAKLAND -- In the free agent market, the Warriors have been linkedalmost exclusivelyto big men like Tyson Chandler and DeAndre Jordan.

Incumbent center Andris Biedrins said at Fridays season opening practice that he doesnt blame the Warriors for trying to replace him.

The last two years have been horrible for me, Biedrins said.

Hes had plenty of injuries recently, but Biedrins thinks the biggest injury was to his confidence. He says he no longer has that problem after summer working out in his native Latvia. It was a summer in which he says he got completely healthy and put on 15 pounds of muscle in the process.

Coach Mark Jackson says he has confidence in Biedrens.

I believe in him, Jackson said. "I think he can definitely get back to where he was."

Biedrins says he knows his coach has his back as long as I rebound and block shots.
