A person with knowledge of the negotiations says All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan is staying in Toronto after agreeing early Friday to the basic parameters of a deal.

DeRozan can sign on or after July 7, when the league's offseason moratorium expires.
USA Today Sports first reported that DeRozan and the Raptors had reached a deal.
