DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended two games by the NBA, the team announced Sunday, after he engaged in a verbal altercation with Spurs' announcer Sean Elliot following the Kings' 97-86 loss to San Antonio on Friday.
He will not participate in Sunday's game vs. the Lakers or Tuesday's game against the Blazers.
Cousins is averaging 17.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season and had this reaction via Twitter following the news.

Kings forward Thomas Robinson was recently suspended two games without pay for an elbow to the neck of Jonas Jerebko of the Detroit Pistons. Robinson was ejected from the game and will be active again when the Kings take on the Blazers Tuesday.
