SACRAMENTO -- The Kings are about to get a major piece back in the rotation.
The question is, when exactly will Bogdan Bogdanovic receive clearance to return to the court?
Bogdanovic, 26, has targeted the team’s Nov. 7 game against the Toronto Raptors for a return, but the shooting guard has yet to be cleared by the Kings’ new medical staff.

“I feel like 10 days ago I was ready to play, but I’m still waiting for a green light,” Bogdanovic said Tuesday. “So we’ll see if it’s going to be the next game or I’m not sure, but the game on Friday, we’ll see.”
The Serbian-born wing practiced with the team while out on the road Saturday, and then again Tuesday. He admitted to being out of basketball shape, but he’s anxious to get back out on the court.
“Mentally, I feel like 100 percent, but they don’t want any setbacks in the season, especially, so that’s why they’ve tried to save me,” Bogdanovic said. “We’ll see, I don’t know yet.”
Bogdanovic will meet with the Kings’ medical team Wednesday morning, followed by a conversation with coach Dave Joerger.

“I can talk with him as much as I want, but it’s still on the docs, it’s not on the coach,” Bogdanovic said of Joerger. “He knows I want [to play].”
Sacramento will err on the side of caution when it comes to Bogdanovic, He’s undergone two procedures on his left knee this offseason for separate injuries. If they have to wait an extra game or two, that is exactly what they’ll do.
